From the Desk of Dr.Elliott Kravitz, MD

Shana tova to all.

Our community has worked hard so we can all pray together during this present reality. We have put these measures in place for your safety and for the safety of the community around you. To show respect and to care for all around us as well as ourselves and our families, the following regulations must be strictly adhered to:

  1. Masks are to be worn at all times with no exceptions, save for the Chazan.

  2. If you wish to remove your mask you must exit the tent first.

  3. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms of a cough, fever or have been recently in touch with anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 , or you have travelled outside of Quebec in the last 14 days, do not enter until the 14 days of the quarantine period is completed and you have no symptoms or illness which have arisen.

  4. Upon approaching the tent area, 2 meter (6 feet) distancing must be practiced

  5. Our designated ushers will guide you to your place in the tent, to avoid any issues or contact with others in the tent.

  6. At the entrance, wash your hands with the provided hand sanitizer.

  7. Whenever you leave or re-enter the tent you must repeat this process.

  8. All seats are pre assigned. If you do not have a reserved seat please stand at the government defined 2 meters distance from anyone else outside the tent perimeter.

  9. Using the designated aisles go directly to your seat. A map of your location should be posted at the entrance to the tent. If for any reason you wish to leave your seat, you must leave the tent through the same route. Upon return re wash your hands and retrace your route.

  10. A sanitized Machzor will be provided at your seat. You must leave these on your seat when you leave your seat.

  11. The rented on site bathroom should be used only in real emergencies. The services will be as efficiently conducted as possible to minimize the need for this use.

Remember even though we are the NDG congregation, do not socially congregate.
