About Dr. Abrams

Dr. Binyomin Abrams is the Director of General Chemistry and a Research Associate Professor in the Chemistry department at Boston University. He is the recipient of the 2015 Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the 2021 Gitner Award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology. His pursuit of Judaism began while working on his doctorate in Physical Chemistry at New York University.

Dr. Abrams lectures extensively on the interplay of science and Judaism, and his lecture style combines wit and humour to help his students and audiences grapple with and master even the most difficult and complex topics.
